  • Erik Johnson will visit his former team on the road for the first time since signing with the Sabres during free agency. He has a plus-5 rating in his last five contests. 
  • Jeff Skinner has tallied two goals and two assists in his last five games. 
  • Connor Clifton is riding a three-game assist streak with four assists in that span. 

Colorado

  • Nathan MacKinnon has recorded nine points (4+5) in his last five games. He leads the Avs with 39 points (12+27) in 28 games. 
  • Cale Makar ranks second among defenseman in the NHL with eight goals and 28 assists this season.
