50 POINTS - New York reached the 50-point mark with the win tonight, becoming the fourth team in the NHL to reach 50 points (FLA, TBL, CAR). The Rangers required the fewest games (36) to reach 50 points since 2011-12. The Rangers have earned at least one point in six of their last eight games (5-2-1), have wins in 13 of their last 19 games, 17 of their last 24 games and points in 21 of their last 28 games (18-7-3). The Rangers have at least one point in 27 of their 36 games this season.
CREASE CLOSED - The Rangers allowed 14 shots on goal, their fewest allowed since February 27, 2012 against the Devils. It is the first time since January 28, 2006 against Pittsburgh that New York has recorded 40 or more shots while also allowing 14 or fewer shots in a game.
ROAD SHOW - The Rangers improved to 13-6-2 for 28 points on the road, tied for the most road points in the NHL. The Blueshirts have won three of their last five road games and have been winners in seven of their last 10 road games dating back to November 24.
BOUNCE BACK - New York improved to 8-3-2 this season in games following a regulation/overtime loss.
PREVAILING - The Rangers improved to 10-0-1 when tied after the second period and notched their ninth win of the season when trailing first, tied for the second most in the NHL. Tonight was the Blueshirts' 10th comeback victory of the season, tied for fourth in the league.
SHOOTING GALLERY- New York recorded 40 shots on goal in the win, their third-most in a game this season and most since Nov. 14 against New Jersey.
PENALTY KILL- The Blueshirts went 3-for-3 on the penalty kill in the win. The Blueshirts have been perfect on the PK in eight of their last 11 games and 14 of their last 18 games. The Rangers improved to 19-2-2 in games this season where they have not allowed a power-play goal.
THIRD-PERIOD FRENZY - New York scored three goals in the third period, tied for their second most in the third this season and most since scoring four on December 7 at Chicago.
SILENCING THE DUCKS - The Rangers have won 10 of their last 13 games against the Ducks, dating back to Jan. 7, 2015 (10-2-1 record) and have earned at least one point in 16 of their last 21 games against Anaheim, dating back to Dec. 16, 2008 (14-5-2).

  • Mika Zibanejad scored his 12th goal of the season, giving him seven goals and four assists for 11 points in his last eight games. Zibanejad has points in three of his last four games (4G-1A). This year, the Rangers are 16-2-4 when Zibanejad records a point. Zibanejad extended his point-streak against Anaheim to four games (4G-2A).
    - Ryan Lindgren tallied his first career two-goal game in the win, notching his third and fourth tallies of the season. Lindgren has three points (2G-1A) in his last three games.
    - Adam Fox recorded his 31st assist of the season, the fourth-most in the NHL and the most among defensemen. Fox's 36 points (5G-31A) are tied with Victor Hedman for the most among NHL defensemen. Fox has five assists in his past three four games.
    - Jacob Trouba became the sixth Ranger to tally 10 or more assists this year when he got a helper on Zibanejad's goal. Trouba's 12 assists against Anaheim are the most he has registered against one NHL opponent in his career, and his 14 points against the Ducks are tied for the second-most he has tallied against one opponent in his career (COL - 15).
    - Alexandar Georgiev earned his 50th career win and improved to 7-4-2 on the season. Georgiev has earned at least a point in six of his last nine starts (5-3-1) dating back to Dec. 4.
    - Kaapo Kakko notched an assist in a second-straight game and has three assists in his last six games.
    - Jarred Tinordi scored his first goal as a Ranger and second of his career. His last goal came on January 29, 2020 at Washington when he was with the Nashville Predators. Tinordi is the 17th different goal scorer for New York this season. Tinordi's goal stood as the game-winning goal.
    - Kevin Rooney tallied his second assist of the season, giving him seven goals and one assist for eight points. Rooney found the scoresheet for the first time since Dec. 7 at Chicago.
    - Filip Chytil registered his fifth assist of the season and his first point since Dec. 10 at Buffalo.
    - Morgan Barronrecorded his first career NHL assist and became the 23rd different Ranger to record a point this season. Tonight was Barron's third game of the season and eighth of his career.
