Landon Slaggert
and Team USA captured the gold medal on Tuesday night at the 2021 World Junior Championships.

The Notre Dame freshman centered the fourth line for the majority of the tournament, posting a plus-1 rating over seven games. He spent two seasons in the U.S. Development Program (2018-19, 2019-20) and has a goal and two assists in six games to start his collegiate career.

Michal Teply and Michael Krutil made it to the quarterfinal round with Czech Republic, falling to silver-medalist Team Canada. Teply registered two assists in the tournament. Both were on the ice for the opening day of Blackhawks training camp on Monday.
