The Nashville Predators play their first game in five days as they host the Minnesota Wild for the second time in two weeks (tonight at 7 p.m. CT).
Minnesota prevailed, 5-2, over Nashville on Dec. 15, and have done nothing to slow down since, winning their four games after playing in Music City to hit a franchise-record, 10-game winning streak. The Preds saw their chance at three consecutive wins ruined just before Christmas in a loss to the Los Angeles Kings. Tonight, Nashville hopes their 11th win at home this season will get them back on track and end Minnesota's run in the process.
After several days off the ice, the Predators held a full morning skate on Tuesday and were again without d-man P.K. Subban (day-to-day; upper-body injury). Subban has missed Nashville's past four contests. Forward Reid Boucher participated in the skate; defenseman Anthony Bitetto (Injured Reserve; upper-body injury) joined the team on the ice for the first time since Nov. 29.
