"In Smashville, we're constantly pursuing innovative ways to provide unmatched experiences for each of our fans, which is why we're excited to partner with 15 Seconds of Fame," Nashville Predators President & CEO Sean Henry said. "This season, fans have enjoyed seeing themselves, their family members and their friends on FangVision, our brand-new scoreboard. Now, alongside 15 Seconds of Fame, we can offer those fans the opportunity to share their moment and relive the excitement of their time at Bridgestone Arena."
To access their video, after downloading the free 15 Seconds of Fame app, fans take a "selfie" at sign-up and check into the event. Once they receive their digital clip, the content does not expire. With the 15SOF app, fans can now save these previously unattainable clips as a keepsake and also share them with friends across social media.
"The Nashville Predators demonstrate their commitment to the fan experience across all aspects of their organization," 15SOF Chief Marketing Officer Mitch Rotter said. "We are inspired by their innovative mindset and look forwarding to helping their fans share and treasure their priceless FangVision and television moments."
The introduction of 15SOF is a continuation of the Nashville Predators' ongoing efforts to maximize the fan experience inside of Bridgestone Arena. Last summer, the installation of FangVision saw a nearly 300 percent increase in scoreboard size and a 450 percent increase in resolution. The completion of the board closed out a two-phase, $15 million improvement project, which also saw the installation of LED ribbon boards and sound system upgrades.
In May of 2018, 15SOF won "Best in Mobile Fan Experience" at Sports Business Journal's 11th Annual Sport Business Awards. 15SOF has agreements with the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, Turner, the Big Ten Network and other entertainment rights holders.
