SUNRISE, Fla.– Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zitoannounced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Tomas Nosek on a one-year contract extension.

“Tomas is a stalwart centerman whose strong two-way play served an important role in our championship run this season,” said Zito. “We are excited for Tomas and his family to remain with our organization for the upcoming season.”

Nosek, 32, skated in 59 regular season games with the Panthers in 2024-25, producing nine points (1-8-9) and a plus-four rating. In the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Nosek posted three points (0-3-3) over 16 games.

The 6-for-3, 199-pound native of Pardubice, Czechia has appeared in 493 career regular season games over 10 seasons between the Detroit Red Wings (2015-16 to 2016-17), Vegas Golden Knights (2017-18 to 2020-21), Boston Bruins (2021-22 to 2022-23), New Jersey Devils (2023-24) and Florida Panthers (2024-25), amassing 116 points (45-71-116).

In the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Nosek has recorded 17 points (6-11-17) in 68 career playoff appearances, helping Vegas reach the 2018 Stanley Cup Final and Florida secure their second consecutive Stanley Cup championship.

Nosek has also skated in 176 American Hockey League (AHL) games with Detroit’s affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins, from 2014-15 to 2016-17. He led the AHL with a plus-30 rating in 2014-15 and helped the Griffins to a Calder Cup championship in 2016-17 after logging 22 points (10-12-22) over 19 playoff games.

On the international stage, Nosek has represented Czechia at several tournaments, including serving as his nation’s captain at the 2012 IIHF U20 World Junior Championship.
