What happens when a hockey player ends up with a stick that's much too small for him? Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara found out during a wild sequence on the penalty kill.

Chara, who is 6-foot-9 (and a little more than that on skates), had to use the stick of teammate Brad Marchand for one penalty kill Thursday night against the Anaheim Ducks.
The only issue is that Marchand is a full foot shorter than Chara.
During the action, Chara's stick broke, so he ditched it. Marchand, being the good teammate, gave up his lumber to the big defenseman. Needless to say it was not a perfect marriage of player and equipment.
Regardless of the change (Marchand stayed on the ice with no stick, at one point trying to clear the puck out of the zone with his hands), the Bruins killed the penalty.
