ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues, in partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals and the National Hockey League, are proud to host One Nation Classic Youth Hockey Day at Busch Stadium on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
"We are excited to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to almost 2,000 area youth hockey players to skate on the most famous ice rink in St. Louis history," said Blues CEO of Business Operations Chris Zimmerman. "Our players are excited for the Winter Classic at Busch Stadium and the Blues organization wants to extend that same offer to young hockey players in our area."

Blues Youth Hockey has invited 10 local youth hockey organizations to sell a limited number of open skate passes to their players to have the opportunity to skate on the Winter Classic ice. Through eight open skate sessions, it is expected that as many as 1,600 local youth hockey players will skate on the ice this day.
Any proceeds from One Nation Classic Youth Hockey Day will benefit youth hockey and rink development in St. Louis.
Players registered to local Blues Youth Hockey organizations that would like to participate in this day should contact their local association to register for the opportunity to purchase a skate pass. Each skate pass will include two additional field access passes for families and friends.
A "local youth hockey organization" is defined by registered Missouri Youth Hockey Organizations whose home rink is within 50 miles of Scottrade Center. These organizations include: Affton Americans, Chesterfield Falcons, Gateway Locomotives, Kirkwood Youth Hockey, Meramec Sharks, Southern Illinois Ice Hawks, St. Louis Lady Cyclones, St. Louis Rockets, St. Peters Spirit, and Twin Bridges Lightning.
