Calvin Pickard wants you to help him design his new goalie mask.

The Vegas Golden Knights goalie announced Tuesday he would accept submissions from fans and incorporate his favorite elements on his new mask for the 2017-18 season.

Tweet from @GoldenKnights: Calvin Pickard has a message to fans in Las Vegas."Please help me design my mask."More:

"A new team means a new mask, and I'd like you to help me create it," Pickard said. "I'm not very picky, but I want to represent my city and my team."

Pickard, formerly of the Colorado Avalanche, is starting with the blank canvas of a fresh white mask. Fans can submit their artistry on the Golden Knights website until 3 p.m. ET on Aug. 4. They can also use the hashtag #PicksMaskContest on social media. And Pickard wants to see everyone's best.

"All I really want to see is some creativity," Pickard said. "Knights, horses, castles, dragons. Drawbridges? I'm open."

Five finalists will be invited to a meet and greet with Pickard before a winner is selected. The Golden Knights plan to have a similar mask design contest with Marc-Andre Fleury.
