Duhaime Fleury prank cont

Brandon Duhaime didn’t let a little distance get in the way of his prank war with Marc-Andre Fleury.

The Colorado Avalanche forward toilet papered the Minnesota Wild goalie’s car before their matchup at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday.

It is Duhaime’s first game back in Minnesota since being traded to the Avalanche on March 7.

Duhaime denied any wrongdoing when he was asked about the prank before the game.

“I heard he has beef with a few guys though, so that’s a good one,” Duhaime said in a video posted by the Avalanche. “I like whoever did that...I don’t know who did it. I couldn’t even snitch on the guy. I don’t know who did it.”

Of course, Duhaime didn't fool any of his former Wild teammates who immediately guessed he was the culprit. Even Fleury said he was proud of his buddy's work.

In December, the prank war began after Duhaime called Fleury “50” in an interview. Fleury then got back at his teammate by stealing his clothes a game later and substituted his shoes for white boots a week later. Duhaime returned the favor by replacing the veteran goalie’s stick with a cane.

Your move, Fleury.
