"I think our 5-on-5 play was fantastic," Shattenkirk said. "We were smart with pucks in the neutral zone. When we did get it into their zone, we were just hounds on the puck and we possessed it and made them play defense and made them play a hard game. You know they're going to get their chances, they're a good team. I thought in our defensive zone we did a good job of just getting pucks out when we didn't have plays and ending plays pretty quickly."

TBL@BOS: Stamkos goes top shelf to beat Rask in SO

Pastrnak had two goals and an assist, Patrice Bergeron had a goal and an assist, and Tuukka Rask made 33 saves for the Bruins (5-1-1), who went 3-for-5 on the power play.
Pastrnak's second power-play goal of the game made it 3-3 with 3:05 left in the third period. Marchand's wrist shot from the high slot went wide and deflected off the end boards to Pastrnak, who spun and shot it in off Shattenkirk's stick.
"They're a good hockey club and we know what they bring to the table, obviously," said Bruins defenseman Torey Krug, who had two assists. "They haven't been happy with their starts lately, and they came out flying and they were the harder-working team for most of the game, I'd say. But we did a great job of coming back and getting a point out of it."
Pastrnak gave Boston a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal at 9:34 of the first period after receiving a pass in the left circle from Bergeron, who gathered the loose puck in the slot.
Point tied it 1-1 on a breakaway with 1.6 seconds remaining in the first. Point started the play behind his own net and left a drop pass for Victor Hedman before skating up ice. Hedman cleared the puck off the boards into the neutral zone to Yanni Gourde, who made a quick pass to Point as he split the defense before beating Rask to the glove side.

Bergeron put the Bruins ahead 2-1 with a power-play goal at 7:26 of the second period when he redirected Pastrnak's slap pass in the slot.
Joseph tied it 2-2 at 10:32 when he scored on a rebound of Alex Killorn's initial shot.
Shattenkirk gave Tampa Bay a 3-2 lead at 15:13 of the third, receiving a trail pass from Stamkos and scoring on a wrist shot from the high slot that went under Rask's arm.

TBL@BOS: Shattenkirk snipes go-ahead goal by Rask

"[Stamkos] makes a good play there. I just wanted to go over and support the puck, and obviously in that spot, not trying to do anything too crazy at that point in the game," Shattenkirk said. "But obviously, good things happen when you shoot, and it felt like I had a good screen there. Those pucks don't always go in for me, but it's always nice when they do."

They said it

"We're taking five (penalties) a game now, and it's a testament to the team to lose the special team war 3-0 and still win the hockey game. But it should never have gotten to that. We get the 3-2 lead … the game's got to be over there. And we let a point slip away to a division rival that we don't think we should have." -- Lightning coach Jon Cooper
"We win the game, right, tonight if we get secondary scoring from anybody. I think we're stating the obvious saying that. Having said that, our record is pretty good without it, but I don't think it's sustainable." -- Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy
