Video Review: MIN @ DET - 2:41 of the First Period

No goal Minnesota due to goaltender interference

At 2:41 of the first period in the Wild/Red Wings game, the Situation Room initiated a video review to further examine a play at the Detroit net. Video review determined that the puck entered the Detroit net legally before the referee blew his whistle to stop play.

However, the referee informed the Situation Room that Minnesota's Marcus Foligno interfered with Detroit goaltender Jimmy Howard before the puck crossed the goal line. Therefore the referee's call on the ice stands - no goal Minnesota due to goaltender interference.
