SEA-32-in-32-FANT-Andre-Burakovsky-no-badge

As part of NHL.com's 32 in 32 series, the fantasy hockey staff has projections for relevant players on the Seattle Kraken. Players are listed in order of fantasy rank for this season.

NHL.com fantasy rank: 84

Reason for optimism: Dunn had NHL career highs in goals (14), assists (50) and points (64) last season, nearly doubling his previous best point total from 2021-22 (35). Dunn led the Kraken in average ice time (23:40 per game) and average power-play ice time (2:49). Seattle finished tied for fourth in the NHL in goals per game last season (3.52), and Dunn should be considered a fringe top 15 fantasy defenseman this season playing on a strong top pair with Adam Larsson.

NHL.com point projection: 62

NHL.com fantasy rank: 120

Reason for optimism:The reigning Calder Trophy winner led NHL rookies in points last season (57) and was tied with Dallas Stars forward Wyatt Johnson for the rookie lead in goals (24; second on Kraken in goals behind frequent linemate Jared McCann, 40). Beniers should remain Seattle's clear No. 1 center with right wing Jordan Eberle and either McCann or rookie forward Tye Kartye (five points in 10 playoff games on line with Beniers; won American Hockey League rookie of the year last season) and is worth prioritizing in keeper and dynasty leagues.

NHL.com point projection: 66

Jared McCann, LW

NHL.com fantasy rank: 127

Reason for optimism:McCann became the Kraken's first 40-goal scorer and also had their most points in a single season (70). He had the sixth-highest shooting percentage in the NHL last season (19.1; minimum 70 games) and has a high floor considering he leads Seattle in goals (67), points (120), power-play points (33), shots on goal (409) through its two seasons in the League.

NHL.com point projection: 63

NHL.com fantasy rank: 155

Reason for optimism:Burakovsky had 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 49 games and tied an NHL career high in power-play points (14) before sustaining a season-ending lower-body injury on Feb. 7. His 0.80 points-per-game average put him on pace for 65 over 82 games, which would have been a new career high (previous best, 61 with Colorado Avalanche in 2021-22).

NHL.com point projection: 60

Other SEA players to consider in fantasy: Adam Larsson, D; Jordan Eberle, RW; Philipp Grubauer, G; Shane Wright , C; Tye Kartye, LW
