Defenseman has played in three games with Blackhawks this season

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled defenseman Dennis Gilbert from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Gilbert had two assists in 11 games with the IceHogs this season. He recorded a helper in back-to-back games on Nov. 29 and 30. The 23-year-old has played in three games with the Blackhawks during the 2019-20 campaign, logging 19 hits.
The Blackhawks travel to Boston to take on the Bruins tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. at TD Garden. That game can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago, streamed on NBCSportsChicago.com and on the My Teams by NBC Sports app and heard on WGN Radio.
