The Detroit Red Wings scored the first four goals in a 5-1 preseason win against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday.
Kyle Criscuolo and Steve Ott scored in the first period, and Luke Glendening and Anthony Mantha scored to give Detroit a 4-0 lead 12:54 into the second. Drew Miller scored a third-period goal, and Jared Coreau made 34 saves.

Austin Czarnik scored for Boston, and Malcolm Subban allowed four goals on 34 shots in the first two periods.
