The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, earned four points in its three games last week (1-0-2), moving to an 8-2-2 record in its last 12 games.
The Wild ranks third in the AHL with an 88.5 penalty kill percentage (92-for-104) and T-3rd in fewest powerplay goals against (12).

Iowa won the first matchup against San Antonio with a 5-3 victory Friday at AT&T Center (12/1). F Christoph Bertschy scored two goals while D Alex Grant, F Joel Eriksson Ek and F Gerald Mayhew also netted a goal apiece. G Steve Michalek stopped 44-of-47 shots.
The Wild took a point in its second contest against the Rampage with a 4-3 overtime loss Saturday in San Antonio (12/2). Forwards Pat Cannone, Eriksson Ek and Mayhew each scored for Iowa while Michalek made 36 saves.
Iowa recorded another point in its third game of the week with a 5-4 overtime loss against Texas on Tuesday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park (12/5). Cannone (1-1=2) and F Landon Ferraro (1-1=2) led the team with two points apiece. F Luke Kuninand F Justin Kloos also scored a goal each and Michalek stopped 24-of-29 shots through overtime.
Cannone is on a six-game point streak, totaling seven points (4-3=7) since Nov. 24, which ranks T-2nd in the AHL for longest active point streak. He also leads Iowa with 18 points (10-8=18) in 23 games this season, ranking T-11th in the League in goals.
F Cal O'Reilly ranks second with 15 points (5-10=15) and F Colton Beck ranks third with 14 points (6-8=14).
G Niklas Svedberg is 6-7-1 with a 2.73 GAA, a .908 SV% and one shutout in 14 games this season. Michalek is 5-1-2 with a 2.71 GAA and a .918 SV% in eight contests.
Iowa returns home this weekend to host San Diego on Saturday and Grand Rapids on Sunday.
