The Nashville Predators open a three-game home stand on Thursday night (at 7 p.m. CT) with their second contest against the Edmonton Oilers in the last two weeks.
The Preds (24-18-8) have points in five-straight at Bridgestone Arena, a place they'll be for nine games this month. The Oilers (28-16-8) begin a three-game road trip with the first of two games in two days in Music City and Carolina. Edmonton lost their last contest 5-2 to the Wild and fell to the Predators in a shootout at Rogers Place on Jan. 20 (but won the three games in between those two bookends).
Nashville is hoping to see star d-man Roman Josi (Injured Reserve; upper-body) back in the lineup soon. Josi has skated during the previous several practices and morning skates, but is yet to join in with the defense during line rushes.
