After 19 seasons with the San Jose Sharks, Patrick Marleau made his first appearance back in his old barn as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The ovation he got was almost as lengthy as his tenure in Northern California.
"It was extremely special to get an ovation like that and see all the signs and everything," Marleau said. "Just really humbling at the same time. It was great to see."
The Sharks played a tribute video for Marleau before the game, and he teared up in the emotional atmosphere while the crowd roared.
"It was something special, something I'm always going to remember," the 38-year-old said. "They showed me great support through my time here and especially tonight was really special."
Marleau's wife, Christina, and four sons were also in attendance, and according to an earlier tweet, she packed her waterproof mascara. Good call, because the tears were certainly flowing all around.
