Nuggets DeRozan rocks Avalanche Hometown Remix jersey before game

DeMar DeRozan arrived at Ball Arena feeling ice cold.

The Denver Nuggets forward wore the Colorado Avalanche’s Hometown Remix jersey before his team’s game against the Toronto Raptors in Denver on Wednesday.

The Nuggets shared a picture of DeRozan’s outfit on social media.

On Monday, Fanatics and the NHL unveiled the Hometown Remix jerseys for all 32 teams. The jerseys will be worn for select games throughout the season.

The Avalanche shared more details about their Hometown Remix jerseys on social media. The white primary color represents the snow the Colorado mountains receive in the winter.

On the crest, the “C” is a nod to the Colorado state flag. The gradient mountain pattern on the jersey numbers symbolizes the ridges of the Rocky Mountains.

The Avalanche will debut their Hometown Remix jerseys on Saturday, Nov. 7 when they host the Detroit Red Wings at Ball Arena. The team will wear the sweaters for six games this season.
