Forward gets game-winning goal in overtime to defeat Canucks

Forward Matt Nieto scored twice, including the game-winner with 40 seconds left in overtime to give the San Jose Sharks a 3-2 win against the Vancouver Canucks in a preseason game at Rogers Arena on Sunday.
Nieto made it 1-1 with a power-play goal at 10:25 of the first period. Forward Kevin Lablanc had a goal and an assist and goalie Martin Jones made 26 saves for San Jose. Forwards Tuomo Ruutu and Anton Rodin scored and goalie Ryan Miller allowed three goals on 20 shots for Vancouver.
