Dan Maloney
, who played 11 seasons in the NHL and coached the Toronto Maple Leafs and Winnipeg Jets, has died at age 68.

The NHL Alumni Association made the announcement on Twitter.
The No. 14 pick of the 1970 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, Maloney had 451 points (192 goals, 259 assists) and 1,489 penalty minutes in 737 NHL games with the Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings and Maple Leafs.
He was 45-100-15 (ties) as coach of the Maple Leafs from 1984-86, and 91-93-28 as coach of the Jets from 1986-89.
