Premier Sports today announced the continuation of its National Hockey League (NHL) broadcast rights through the 2028-2029 season, bringing subscribers 15 live games each week throughout the regular season and in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The new agreement includes exclusive live games throughout the season, starting with defending Stanley Cup champions Carolina Hurricanes hosting the Florida Panthers, followed by Canadian rivals Montreal and Toronto Maple Leafs.

- 29th September – Florida Panthers at Carolina Hurricanes – live from 10pm, Premier Sports 1
- 30th September – Montreal Canadiens at Toronto Maple Leafs – live from 12am, Premier Sports 2
- 30th September – Vancouver Canucks at Edmonton Oilers – live from 3am, Premier Sports 2
- 1st October – New York Islanders at Toronto Maple Leafs – live from 12.30am, Premier Sports 1
- 1st October – LA Kings at Colorado Avalanche – live from 3am, Premier Sports 1
The new NHL season adds to Premier Sports' hockey offering, with live Motorpoint Elite League action continuing throughout the autumn:
- Wednesday 30 September – Glasgow vs Manchester, 7.15pm, Premier Sports 1
- Wednesday 7 October – Dundee vs Manchester, 7.30pm, Premier Sports 1
- Wednesday 14 October – Glasgow vs Dundee, 7.15pm, Premier Sports 1
