, but the selections are not necessarily in line with the best fantasy player from each team.
Below is a list of the fantasy MVP for each of the 31 NHL teams based on Yahoo rank (as of Jan. 22). Yahoo's rankings weigh standard-category production (goals, assists, plus/minus, power-play points, shots on goal and hits for skaters; wins, goals-against average, save percentage and shutouts for goalies) by position (forward, defenseman and goalie) and are an accurate way to evaluate fantasy production over a particular timeframe.
