NHL Network is getting ready for this season by ranking the top 50 players in the League. Researchers, producers and on-air personalities compiled the list, and players 10-1 were revealed Sunday in the premiere of the final program in a five-part offseason series. Here is the list:

Artemi Panarin takes number 9 on the Top 50
Victor Hedman takes number 8 on the Top 50
Andrei Vasilevskiy takes number 7 on the Top 50
Auston Matthews takes number 6 on the top 50
Sidney Crosby takes number 5 on the Top 50
Nikita Kucherov checks in at number 4 on the Top 50
Leon Draisaitl comes in at number 3 on the Top 50
Nathan MacKinnon lands at number 2 on the Top 50
Connor McDavid earns the number 1 spot on the Top 50
