Boston Bruins

Patrice Bergeron will miss his third straight game when the Bruins visit the Montreal Canadiens (7 p.m. ET; NHLN, SN, RDS, NESN, NHL LIVE).
"He was in today, will not travel," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said Sunday. "So he's out for Montreal. [Will] be reevaluated later in the week. I'd put him as a possibility [for] the home game Thursday (against the Tampa Bay Lightning), but it's not for sure."
Bergeron scored Tuesday in a 2-1 overtime win at the Chicago Blackhawks but did not travel for their game at the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday. Cassidy said the injury was related to a previous arm injury.
Bergeron has scored 45 points (17 goals, 28 assists) in 56 games this season
Forward Jack Studnicka could miss the game Monday.
"He blocked a shot in Winnipeg [on Friday]," Cassidy said. "So tried it today and was uncomfortable out there. … I think he will [travel]. I've got to go find out. I'm assuming he will come with us, unless they've ruled him out, which they haven't told me yet." -- Amalie Benjamin

St. Louis Blues

Vladimir Tarasenko and Robert Thomas will not play for the Blues against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSWA, BSMW, ESPN+, ESPN LIVE).
Tarasenko, a forward, will miss his second straight game with a non-COVID-19 related illness, and Thomas, a forward, has an upper-body injury that coach Craig Berube said was a setback. Thomas missed two games with an illness but returned Saturday and played 21:16 in a 5-4 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"It's illness with Tarasenko," Berube said after practice Monday. "(With) Thomas, we're getting it looked at to see. We've just got to make due with what we've got, focus on going to Washington, focus on playing a good game and see what happens."
Forward David Perron also did not practice Monday (maintenance) but will play against the Capitals.
The Blues traded forward Oskar Sundqvist and defenseman Jake Walman to the Detroit Red Wings on Monday for defenseman Nick Leddy and Luke Witkowski.
Berube was unsure if St. Louis would have to recall a forward from Springfield of the American Hockey League or go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen, which they played with against the Blue Jackets. -- Lou Korac

Montreal Canadiens

Brendan Gallagher will not play for the Canadiens at the Bruins (7 p.m. ET; NHLN, SN, RDS, NESN, NHL LIVE) because of a non-COVID-19 related illness.
The forward has scored 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 43 games this season.
