Rangers share emotional video on anniversary of anthem singer's death

For New York Rangers fans missing the roar of Madison Square Garden, the team produced a video you'll want to see.

On Friday afternoon, on the two-year anniversary of legendary anthem singer John Amirante's death, the Rangers shared a chill-inducing video montage of some of the greatest moments in the past three decades.

From the

honoring of New York City police officer Steven McDonald

both during his life and

after his death

in 2017 to the jersey retirements of some of the greatest players in team history, the video is a reminder of all the great things hockey has to offer while the season is paused due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
