WILD (11-8-4) at OILERS (14-10-2)
9:30 p.m. ET; SN1, SNE, SNO, SNP, FS-N, FS-WI, NHL.TV

Wild team scope

Goaltender Devan Dubnyk will make his second consecutive start for the Minnesota Wild and fifth in the past six games. Dubnyk is 9-6-3 with the NHL's second-best goals-against average (1.67) and save percentage (.945). Dubnyk started his NHL career with the Edmonton Oilers in 2009 and is 6-1-0 against his former team. He's given up three goals or fewer in each of his 18 starts this season. "He sure has given our players faith," coach Bruce Boudreau said. "He's played as well as any goalie in the NHL this year so far. He got us a point in Calgary [3-2 shootout loss against Calgary Flames on Friday] and it seems like every time he plays, he steals us a game or he steals us a point at least." The Wild are winless in their past three games (0-1-2) and are playing the fourth of a five-game road trip.

Oilers team scope

The Edmonton Oilers are looking to extend their winning streak to three games after a 6-3 victory at the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday and 3-2 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. Forward Leon Draisaitl scored the overtime goal against the Ducks and has seven goals and 13 points in his past 10 games. Draisaitl is playing on the Oilers' top line alongside left wing Milan Lucic and center Connor McDavid, who leads the League in scoring with 11 goals and 34 points in 25 games. After the win Saturday, coach Todd McLellan said he challenged Draisaitl to try and be the best player on the ice. "I think every player should think that way, but it's pretty hard to do when you're on a line with Connor McDavid," Draisaitl said. "If you play with a guy like Connor, you want to get him the puck as much as possible. Yesterday wasn't a night to do that, they basically just mirrored him on the ice and a lot of times it was a four-on-four game. Sometimes you have to play your own game and not think about Connor too much." McDavid was held pointless for the eighth time this season Saturday. "I thought at points yesterday Leon deferred to Connor, he was waiting for him or trying to find him in certain spots," McLellan said. "You're a great player too, Leon, take the puck go do things with it, Connor will find the right spots at the right time and it will all work out."
