The defenseman had 54 points (13 goals, 41 assists) in 154 games for Ottawa before he was traded along with forward Nate Thompson for forwards Marian Gaborik and Nick Shore.
The Senators, who have lost two in a row, will be without forwards Alex Formenton (concussion) and Ryan Dzingel (lower body), and defenseman Cody Ceci (upper body), who were placed on injured reserve Friday.
Goaltender Craig Anderson will start for Ottawa. He has allowed 13 goals in three games and has an .895 save percentage.
Jack Campbell, who had his first NHL shutout in a 3-0 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, will start for Los Angeles.
