Beach stage

As the Florida Panthers made their way through Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to celebrate their back-to-back championships, NHL.com correspondent George Richards provided updates throughout the afternoon.

2:30 p.m. ET

The speeches wrap up to the tune of "Pink Pony Club" and "We Are the Champions."

Another one in the books for the Panthers.

2:00 p.m. ET

The ceremony begins with highlights from the Panthers' playoff run, starting with their victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference First Round. Speeches have begun at the beach.

1:40 p.m. ET

The Stanley Cup has arrived at the beach, along with most of the players and coaches.

12:45 p.m. ET

The buses have begun to arrive at Fort Lauderdale Beach. As the front office members have arrived, some players are still greeting fans and making their way towards the beach before the ceremony begins.

In the meantime, the Panthers have been showing highlights of the playoff run for fans waiting at the stage.

12:00 p.m. ET

By land and by sea, Panthers fans are gathering at Fort Lauderdale Beach as the buses begin traveling down the parade route towards the water.

10:09 a.m. ET

Fans begin to fill up the arena in front of the stage at Fort Lauderdale Beach at the end of the Panthers’ parade route. The team will begin its journey to the waterfront stage at noon ET.
