Some notes regarding tonight's line-up against the Devils along with a few injury updates on Mark Stone, Bobby Ryan and more.

Starting with a look at tonight's roster, both Derick Brassard and Nate Thompson won't play against New Jersey. Brassard was absent from the team's morning skate today with an undisclosed injury while Thompson continues to deal with a re-occuring issue that has caused him to miss 8 games so far in 2018.
As a result of Brassard and Thompson's unavailability tonight, the Sens have recalled Max McCormick from Belleville and Fredrik Claesson will return as Sens head coach Guy Boucher will deploy a line-up of 11 forwards and 7 defencemen.
The coach also provided an update on Bobby Ryan and the prognosis isn't great. Ryan, who suffered another hand injury on Feb. 1st against the Ducks, is dealing with a "ligament issue" this time and is considered week-to-week.

We shared a brief update on Stone, who returned to practice this morning, in today's Game Day 5 (which you can read
right here
) but the Sens' leading scorer has once again been ruled out for tonight's game. He spoke with the media following the skate today and shared that his recovery continues to progress and that he could return by Saturday "at the latest" if things continue to improve.
Chris Wideman, who has been sidelined since mid-November with a hamstring tear, also laced'em up this morning and took a twirl on the ice before the team's morning preparations began. This marks his first time skating since the injury and he continues to work towards a return to action this season.
Instagram from @wides6: Today was the most fun I've had in 2 months since my surgery! So many ups and downs along the way but I know every step/stride gets me closer to playing!

In Goal

Craig Anderson (13-17-5) gets the start in goal tonight against the Devils. Anderson has been very good for the Sens in his last 3 starts and has recorded a .939 save percentage over that span. He most recently picked up a victory over the weekend in Philadelphia and now looks to make it two consecutive wins for the first time since early January.
