For starters, the Sens have recalled Filip Chlapik and Andreas Englund from Belleville and we've got more details on both of those moves in today's
Game Day 5
. The reason for their additions is to help add some depth to a roster that is without Gabriel Dumont for the next two games as well as the uncertainty around Zack Smith (game-time decision) and the absence of Dion Phaneuf (personal matter).
With Phaneuf unavailable tonight, Ben Harpur will draw into the line-up on the backend. Harpur was recalled from Belleville prior to Tuesday's game and will see his first NHL action since appearing in the team's Dec. 12th contest against the Sabres.
Smith is set to take the warm-up tonight in Tampa Bay but if he's unable to play, Chlapik will go in his place. Chlapik's only other NHL appearance came back on Oct. 26th in a 5-4 win over the Philadelphia Flyers where he recorded his first NHL point on Phaneuf's power play goal to open the scoring.
