Panthers coach Paul Maurice said Barkov, a forward, will not play on Monday. He is day to day with a lower-body injury he sustained in a 4-2 win against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday. … White returns after missing two games with an upper-body injury … Gudas (concussion), a defenseman, is a game-time decision. Kiersted would take his spot in the lineup if Gudas is ruled out. … The Bruins waived forward Craig Smith on Sunday, but he participated in line rushes in place of Greer during morning skate. Bruins coach Jim Montgomery said he was not expecting to make any lineup changes before the move, so Smith would be expected to play if he clears waivers.
