McDavid-Shortshifts

ANAHEIM -- Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid looked trapped and decidedly uncomfortable … with no escape route in sight.
This was not on the ice.
It was at the airport in Edmonton on Tuesday. McDavid and his Oilers teammates were headed back to Southern California for Game 7 of the Western Conference Second Round against the Anaheim Ducks.

Oilers fans, naturally, want to have their picture taken with McDavid. These two fans, Jimmy and Rosalina, were one determined couple, as you can tell from the photo and McDavid's expression.

"That picture was a little bit weird," McDavid said Wednesday after the Oilers morning skate at Honda Center before Game 7. "I don't know how you're supposed to feel comfortable when they hold you like that. It was pretty much of a death grip.
"I was just trying to get on the plane as fast as I could."
Margeaux Maron, a weather anchor and reporter at Global Edmonton tweeted the photo (Jimmy and Rosalina are the parents of her best friend) and added, "Possibly the best/most awkward photo of all time?"
Yes, that may be the perfect way of putting it.
