Fabbri receives medical clearance to return

ST. LOUIS - Robby Fabbri has been fully cleared to participate in hockey-related activities in preparation for training camp in September.
Fabbri, who tore his ACL in February 2017 and tore it again during training camp last September, has had two surgeries and missed nearly a season and a half rehabbing the injuries.

"He's doing very well," Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong told stlouisblues.com. "He is up in Toronto working very hard and time is going to tell on this one. It's very difficult, you feel for Robby. He was projecting to be such a good player and then these two injuries kept him out a year and a half. We want to make sure we're not putting him in a position to fail when he comes (to training camp). He'll come back in and be hoping for the best, but expecting a little bit of re-adjustment. But health wise, he's doing good."
Through two seasons with St. Louis, Fabbri has posted 29 goals and 37 assists (66 points) in 123 games.
Armstrong said all of the Blues who sustained long-term injuries last season are expected to be ready by the return of training camp. That list includes Fabbri, Vladimir Tarasenko (shoulder), Jay Bouwmeester (hip) and Carl Gunnarsson (knee).
