Bourque signs three-year, entry-level contract with Stars

Forward selected No. 30 in 2020 NHL Draft has scored 27 points in 18 QMJHL games this season

Mavrik Bourque signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars on Monday.

The 19-year-old forward (5-foot-10, 178 pounds) was chosen with the No. 30 pick of the 2020 NHL Draft.

Bourque has scored 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) in 18 games with Shawinigan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Last season he tied for the Shawinigan lead with 71 points (29 goals, 42 assists) in 49 games.
