The Blue Jackets hold the second wild card from the Eastern Conference, two points in front of the Carolina Hurricanes. They lost 5-2 against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.
The Ducks hold the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference. They're tied in points with St. Louis Blues and one point in front of the Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames.
Forwards Jason Chimera and Chris Kelly will make their Ducks debuts. Chimera, 38, was acquired in a trade with the New York Islanders on Monday. Kelly, 37, signed a one-year contract Monday. He has not played in the NHL this season.

Players to watch

Blue Jackets forward Artemi Panarin had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win against the Ducks on Dec. 1. He has seven points (three goals, four assists) during a six-game point streak.
Ducks forward Ryan Getzlaf has seven points (two goals, five assists) in his past four games.
