At 18:28 of the first period in the Capitals/Devils game, New Jersey requested a Coach's Challenge to review whether Washington was off-side prior to Andre Burakovsky's goal.

After reviewing all available replays and consulting with the linesmen, NHL Hockey Operations staff were inconclusive in determining if the Capitals tagged up prior to their goal.

Therefore the original call stands - good goal Washington Capitals.

Since the Coach's Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the New Jersey Devils forfeit their time-out.
