Buffalo Sabres forward Benoit Pouliot will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Saturday for an illegal check to the head against Florida Panthers defenseman Keith Yandle.
The incident occurred with 2: 15 remaining in the third period in the Panthers' 4-1 victory against the Sabres at KeyBank Center on Friday. Pouliot's high hit behind the Florida net knocked off Yandle's helmet.

No penalty was called on the play.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
