Forwards Matt Beleskey and Seth Griffith each scored for the Boston Bruins in a 2-1 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets in a preseason game at Nationwide Arena on Thursday.
Beleskey gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead at 2:34 of the first period and Griffith scored the game-winning goal at 3:53 of the third. Goalies Anton Khudobin and Malcolm Subban split the game for Boston. Khudobin stopped all 11 shots he faced and Subban allowed a goal on 17 shots. Defenseman Christian Ehrhoff, who signed a professional tryout with the Bruins on Sept. 30, had an assist and was plus-1 in 17:51 of ice time. Blue Jackets forward Brandon Saad made it 2-1 with a power-play goal at 6:49 of the third period. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 20 saves and defenseman Seth Jones had an assist for Columbus.
