Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby will not start against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday (7:30 p.m. ET; NHLN, SN, SN360, PRIME, CSN-DC), making it unlikely that he'll break NHL single-season record for victories.
Holtby, who tied the mark set by Martin Brodeur in the 2006-07 season with his 48th win in a 5-1 victory against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, will back up Philipp Grubauer.
