Bruins mark doubleheader with PWHL jerseys

The Boston Bruins are as ready as anyone ahead of a Saturday hockey doubleheader.

With the Boston Fleet of the PWHL taking the ice after the Bruins play the Tampa Bay Lightning at TD Garden, Bruins players arrived to the arena wearing Fleet jerseys.

Morgan Geekie, Jeremy Swayman and Charlie McAvoy looked stylish in the PWHL jerseys.

The Fleet will take over TD Garden in the evening against the Montreal Victoire, a matchup between the top two teams in the PWHL.

The NHL and PWHL doubleheader in Boston comes just one week after the New York Rangers and New York Sirens played a doubleheader at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Sirens set the U.S. women’s hockey attendance record with 18,006 fans in house.
