Bruins share Thanksgiving with season ticket holders

Boston kicks off holiday season by hosting celebration, toy drive at TD Garden

Thanksgiving came early for the Boston Bruins and some of their season ticket holders.
The Bruins hosted "B Thankful," a holiday celebration and toy drive at TD Garden on Sunday.

Boston players wore turkey-themed hats and some, such as forward David Backes, participated in a turkey toss. Forward David Pastrnak also handed out meals.

Other Bruins coached some lucky fans in a pie eating contest.

Forward Dominic Moore and defenseman Zdeno Chara capped the event with a happy selfie.

Fans were generous in support of Boston's toy drive, which went to the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation, an organization that provides toys to military children during the holidays.
