ST. LOUIS - Blues players visited children at five area hospitals on Wednesday, delivering gifts and visiting with patients and their families, many of whom may not be home for the holidays this year.
Players visited St. Louis Children's Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, Ranken Jordan Pediatric Specialty Hospital, Mercy Children's Hospital and Shriner's Hospital for Children.
"Each of us gave out a blanket, a puck and an autograph book," Blues defenseman Colton Parayko said. "We were just going through the hospital and trying to put a smile on a face and change these kids' days. You can't begin to understand what they're going through."
