ST. LOUIS - Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong announced several changes to his hockey operations staff on Tuesday.
Bill Armstrong, who joined the Blues as an amateur scout in 2004 and has served as the Director of Amateur Scouting since 2010, will also now serve as assistant general manager. Martin Brodeur, who previously served as the club's assistant general manager, will leave the organization to pursue new opportunites.

"I want to thank Tom Stillman, Doug Armstrong, Chris Zimmerman and the Blues organization for giving me the opportunity to continue my playing career and begin my career off the ice in hockey operations," Brodeur said. "I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career."
As the Director of Amateur Scouting, Bill Armstrong has orchestrated the selections of several impactful players, including Vince Dunn, Joel Edmundson and Colton Parayko, as well as highly-regarded prospects such as Ville Husso, Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas. Prior to joining the Blues, Bill spent six seasons as a coach in the American Hockey League and helped guide the Providence Bruins to the 1999 Calder Cup Championship as an assistant.
In addition, Kevin McDonald has been named the general manager of the Blues' AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage, and will also serve as a pro scout for the Blues. Former NHL defenseman Glen Wesley has been named development coach, while former Blues defenseman Barret Jackman will not return to the hockey operations staff for the 2018-19 season.
Additional title changes include Ryan Miller, who has been named director of hockey operations, and Dave Farrish, who has been named a pro scout.
The Blues and Rampage have also rounded out the San Antonio coaching staff, adding former Blues defenseman J.J. Daigneault and former Blues assistant coach Daniel Tkaczuk as assistants to Rampage head coach Drew Bannister.
