Barclay Goodrow's dad should buy a lottery ticket.

The father of the New York Rangers forward not only predicted his son's team would win Game 7 against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday, but predicted the correct score of the game.
Responding to a tweet by the NHL which asked fans to predict the winner and final score, John Goodrow didn't care that the Hurricanes hadn't lost a home game in the playoffs. He was confident that his son and the Rangers would get it done.
"Rangers 6-2", his response said.

The Rangers, who trailed the Eastern Conference Second Round series 2-0 and 3-2, won Game 7 in Carolina, by that exact 6-2 score. Goodrow had an assist in the game.
Goodrow won the Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning each of the past two seasons, but will now play them in the conference final.
No word yet on who the senior Goodrow has winning Game 1 or the series, but we think we have an idea.
