The 2020 NHL Trade Deadline, the moves that have already been made and looking ahead to what could still happen, is not surprisingly the main topic of discussion on a new edition of the NHL @TheRink podcast.

Co-hosts Dan Rosen and Shawn P. Roarke went through a litany of opinions complete with some prognosticating on what could happen throughout the NHL before the deadline at 3 p.m. ET on Monday.
What is the New York Rangers' next move with forward Chris Kreider, a pending unrestricted free agent who is the most appealing player on the rental market if he doesn't re-sign? Kreider has 32 points (18 goals, 14 assists) in 30 games since Dec. 8.
Are the Colorado Avalanche and Boston Bruins in the market for Kreider, and why? What about the St. Louis Blues?
What are the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers needs and wants? What should the Edmonton Oilers be looking to do?
Can the New York Islanders survive in the Stanley Cup Playoff race without getting more scoring? They scored two goals in losing four straight road games.
Sprinkled into the last pre-trade deadline NHL @TheRink podcast are interviews Rosen and Roarke conducted with Avalanche center Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and four-time Stanley Cup champion Ken Morrow, a member of the 1980 United States Olympic team that is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Miracle on Ice in Las Vegas this weekend.
Bellemare spoke about his path to the NHL as a player from France when he sat down with Rosen and Roarke last week in Colorado Springs prior to playing in the 2020 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series at the United States Air Force Academy.
Morrow spoke to the co-hosts by phone about what it was like to play on the 1980 team, and told some stories from the locker room, after landing in Las Vegas on Thursday.
The podcast is free, and listeners can subscribe on all podcast platforms. It is also available on
