Ducks at Kings preview

Anaheim, Los Angeles each look for first win in three games

The Game 

Jonathan Quick will try to bounce back after allowing four goals in each of his past two starts when the Los Angeles Kings host the Anaheim Ducks at Staples Center on Saturday.

Quick allowed four goals on 20 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on Jan. 6, following allowing four goals on 41 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Calgary Flames on Jan. 4. The Kings have lost two straight and four of six (2-3-1).

John Gibson could start for the Ducks, who are 3-1-1 in their past five games, but have lost two straight.

Each team is coming off its five-day break and will be playing for the first time since last Saturday.


Players to watch

Ducks forward Jakob Silfverberg has seven points (two goals, five assists) in his past seven games.

Kings forward Tyler Toffoli has five points (two goals, three assists) in his past four games.

Muzzin is doubtful despite skating at the end of practice each of the past two days.
