ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reduced its training camp roster to 23 players. The team assigned defenseman Ryan Murphy to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and placed forward Luke Kunin on Injured Reserve. The team also placed defenseman Gustav Olofsson on waivers today.

Minnesota opens the 2018-19 NHL season at the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM. The Wild hosts the Vegas Golden Knights in its home opener on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.
