Top prospects could join NHL teams soon

Eeli Tolvanen, NSH --The Finnish prospect is free to sign with the Nashville Predators after his season ended for Jokerit of the Kontinental Hockey League on Saturday. Tolvanen had nine points (three goals, six assists) in five games during the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics and 43 points (25 goals, 18 assists) in 60 games for Jokerit (regular season and playoffs combined). He could feasibly join Nashville's top-nine forward group and have late-season relevance in the final two weeks and/or Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Henrik Borgstrom, FLA and Troy Terry, ANA -- After Denver University's season ended Sunday in the NCAA Tournament, the top forward prospects have signed entry-level contracts with the Florida Panthers and Anaheim Ducks during their respective postseason races. Borgstrom, who has played two seasons at Denver, and Terry, who finished his third season, are worth monitoring in fantasy leagues, but Borgstrom is more appealing considering he could feasibly fill Florida's second-line void if he shifts to wing. The Panthers have the most games remaining (nine) over the final two weeks of the regular season.
Lias Andersson, NYR and Filip Chytil, NYR -- The New York Rangers forward prospects have been recalled from Hartford of the American Hockey League and each had a point against the Washington Capitals on Monday. Even with the Rangers out of playoff contention, Andersson and Chytil provide much-needed center depth and have joined New York's top nine right off the bat. The Rangers top line of Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad and Jesper Fast is set in stone for now, so Chytil is centering Kevin Hayes and Mats Zuccarello and Andersson is playing with Jimmy Vesey and Ryan Spooner.
Casey Mittelstadt , BUF --The University of Minnesota forward signed an entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres on Monday. He is likely to join the Sabres this week and could play on a line with either center Jack Eichel or Ryan O'Reilly against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday (7 p.m. ET; MSG-B, FS-D+, NHL.TV).
Adam Gaudette, VAN -- The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Adam Gaudette to an entry-level contract. Gaudette, who led the NCAA in scoring with 60 points (30 goals, 30 assists) in 38 regular-season games for Northeastern University, is likely to join the Canucks this week and could feasibly play on their top line with Bo Horvat in the absence of injured rookie Brock Boeser (103rd in Yahoo). The Canucks have three games this week, all at home.
Jordan Greenway, MIN --The Boston University forward signed an entry-level contract with the Minnesota Wild on Monday and is expected to make his NHL debut against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; FS-TN, FS-N, NHL.TV). The power forward had 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) in 36 NCAA games and one goal in five games during the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. The Wild are likely to utilize Greenway in a top-six or top-nine role in his debut, making him a potential value pick in DraftKings ($2,800).
