Maple Leafs Reduce Roster to 23 Players

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has reduced its roster to 23 players (13 forwards, eight defencemen and two goaltenders).

The Maple Leafs have placed the following players on waivers: Connor Carrick, Curtis McElhinney and Calvin Pickard.
The Maple Leafs open the 2018-19 season on Wednesday, October 3 at 7 p.m. when they host the Montreal Canadiens at Scotiabank Arena.
